Career.zycto is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) to join our esteemed network of professionals, working on critical projects within the vibrant Shiloh area of Springdale, Arkansas. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, repairs, and alterations on aircraft airframes, engines, and components in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer's manuals, and company procedures.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems issues.
  • Complete thorough pre-flight, through-flight, and post-flight inspections, ensuring aircraft are safe and ready for operation.
  • Interpret technical manuals, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and other maintenance documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance performed, including parts used, time expended, and discrepancies found.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and environmental regulations, maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with flight crews, other technicians, and leadership to ensure efficient workflow and communication.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
  • Support ground handling, fueling, and towing operations as required.
  • Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained, calibrated, and accounted for.

Required Skills

  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate
  • Minimum 4 years (48 months) of verifiable experience in aircraft maintenance on various aircraft types
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting complex aircraft systems (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic)
  • Strong understanding of FAA regulations (FARs), technical manuals, and service bulletins
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb, bend, stoop, and work in various weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with specific aircraft types relevant to regional or corporate aviation (e.g., Bombardier, Embraer, Gulfstream, Cessna)
  • Associate’s degree or higher in Aviation Maintenance Technology
  • Prior experience in a lead technician or quality assurance role
  • Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
  • Proficiency with specialized test equipment and tools
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and research
