Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently handle passenger baggage, including loading and unloading from aircraft, sorting, and transporting to designated areas.
- Operate specialist ground service equipment (e.g., baggage tugs, belt loaders) with strict adherence to safety guidelines (training provided).
- Assist with aircraft marshalling, guiding aircraft to and from parking stands.
- Manage the boarding process, including verifying tickets, scanning boarding passes, and directing passengers to the correct gates and aircraft.
- Provide clear, helpful information and assistance to passengers, ensuring a positive travel experience.
- Conduct pre-flight and post-flight checks of ground equipment.
- Communicate effectively with flight crew, air traffic control, and other ground staff to ensure coordinated operations.
- Adhere to all airport security procedures, airline regulations, and company policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support overall airport ground operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic airport environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong team player mentality.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy luggage (up to 23kg) and stand for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Demonstrated reliability and punctuality.
- Full UK driving license (for operating ground vehicles, preferred for some roles, not strictly essential for all).
- Ability to pass a full background check and obtain an airport security clearance.

- Previous experience in an aviation, logistics, or customer service role.
- Knowledge of airport operations and safety procedures.
