Career.zycto is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Animation Trainee to join our creative team in KIZAD, Abu Dhabi. This is an exceptional entry-level opportunity for aspiring animators who are eager to learn, grow, and contribute to cutting-edge digital projects. As an Animation Trainee, you will work closely with our experienced animators, graphic designers, and art directors, gaining invaluable hands-on experience across various stages of the animation production pipeline. Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior animators with various tasks, including asset preparation, scene blocking, and animation clean-up.
- Learn and apply core animation principles (squash and stretch, anticipation, timing, etc.) to project work.
- Contribute to storyboarding and concept art development under guidance.
- Support in character design and basic rigging processes.
- Operate and learn industry-standard animation software such as Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and potentially 3D software.
- Organize and manage project files, ensuring adherence to naming conventions and folder structures.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide creative input.
- Perform research on animation techniques, trends, and best practices.
- Review and provide feedback on your own work and the work of peers in a constructive manner.
- Maintain clear communication with team members regarding project progress and challenges.
- Adapt to feedback and revise animations to meet project requirements and artistic vision.
Required Skills
- Strong passion for animation and visual storytelling
- Basic understanding of animation principles
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator (or similar graphic design tools)
- Familiarity with Adobe After Effects (or similar motion graphics software)
- Ability to draw and sketch effectively
