Career.zycto is seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Part-Time Animator to join our vibrant team in Singapore. As a Part-Time Animator, you will be instrumental in developing engaging visual content for a diverse range of projects, supporting both internal initiatives and external client needs within the creative and digital media sectors. You’ll work closely with our marketing and design teams, translating concepts into captivating animations that resonate with target audiences across various platforms. We are looking for someone with a strong portfolio showcasing their ability to execute different animation styles, from 2D character animation to motion graphics and explainer videos. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and create high-quality 2D and motion graphics animations for various digital platforms (social media, websites, presentations, client projects).
- Collaborate with creative directors, designers, and marketing specialists to conceptualize and storyboard animation projects.
- Ensure all animations align with brand guidelines and project objectives, maintaining a consistent visual style.
- Manage multiple animation projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and project specifications.
- Incorporate feedback from team members and stakeholders to refine and improve animation sequences.
- Stay updated with industry trends, software advancements, and new animation techniques to continuously enhance skill set and output.
- Prepare and optimize animation assets for various export formats and resolutions.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in industry-standard animation software (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Adobe Animate, Toon Boom Harmony).
- Strong understanding of animation principles (timing, spacing, anticipation, squash & stretch, etc.).
- Demonstrable portfolio showcasing a range of animation styles and projects.
- Excellent visual storytelling abilities and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Animation, Motion Graphics, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- Experience with 3D animation software (e.g., Cinema 4D, Blender) is a plus.
- Familiarity with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro).
