Career.zycto is seeking a dedicated and technically proficient API Integration Support Specialist to join our growing team in Lebourgneuf, Quebec City. In this pivotal role, you will be the frontline expert, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our clients’ API integrations. You’ll analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues related to API connectivity, data flow, and system interoperability. Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert technical support for API integrations (connectivity, authentication, data flow, performance).
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems reported by clients.
- Collaborate with internal development teams to escalate bugs and test proposed solutions.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including FAQs and troubleshooting guides.
- Proactively monitor integration health and performance, identifying potential issues.
- Educate clients on API functionalities, proper usage, and troubleshooting steps.
- Participate in client onboarding, ensuring successful initial API setup and integration.
- Stay current with API technologies, industry standards, and internal product updates.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of support processes and tools.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical support role, specifically with API integrations or backend systems.
- Proficiency in understanding RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, and other data exchange formats.
- Strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills.
- Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Insomnia) and command-line utilities.
- Familiarity with database concepts and ability to write basic SQL queries.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and French (bilingualism preferred).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
