Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms.
- Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend engineers to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks, fix bugs, and improve application performance.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge within the team.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and strategic planning for future app development.
- Assist in the maintenance of existing applications and provide ongoing support.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Swift/Objective-C for iOS and/or Kotlin/Java for Android development
- Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles, patterns, and best practices
- Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party libraries
- Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
- Ability to write unit and integration tests
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cross-platform frameworks like React Native or Flutter
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and mobile backend-as-a-service (MBaaS)
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for mobile apps
- A portfolio of published mobile applications on the App Store or Google Play
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
