Career.zycto is actively seeking a passionate and dedicated full-time Applied Behavior Analyst (ABA) to join our growing team in Ancaster, Hamilton. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments, including FBA, VBMAPP, ABLLS-R, and other relevant assessments.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment plans tailored to client needs.
- Provide direct supervision, training, and performance feedback to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other direct care staff.
- Conduct parent/caregiver training sessions to ensure generalization of skills and consistent implementation of strategies in natural environments.
- Collect, graph, and analyze behavioral data to evaluate treatment effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and educators, to ensure integrated care.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including progress reports, session notes, and treatment plan updates.
- Adhere to ethical guidelines and best practices set forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and relevant professional organizations.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with advancements in the field of ABA.
- Ensure client safety and maintain a positive, supportive, and therapeutic environment.
Required Skills
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing.
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of post-certification experience working as a BCBA.
- Demonstrated expertise in conducting a variety of behavioral assessments and developing evidence-based treatment plans.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills, with experience training and managing RBTs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with families and team members.
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and report writing.
- Strong ethical decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with diverse age ranges and diagnostic populations.
- Additional certifications or specialized training in specific ABA methodologies (e.g., ACT, PEERS, ESDM).
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Bilingualism (e.g., English/French) is an asset.
