Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate A&R Administrator to join our dedicated team in Eaton, Norwich. This pivotal full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to be a cornerstone of our Artist & Repertoire (A&R) department, providing essential administrative and operational support to our A&R executives and managers. As an A&R Administrator, you will be instrumental in the smooth running of our artist discovery and development pipeline, ensuring that all administrative tasks are handled with precision and discretion, allowing our creative teams to focus on what they do best – finding and nurturing exceptional talent.
Your day-to-day will involve a diverse range of tasks, from managing complex schedules and coordinating travel arrangements for A&R personnel and artists, to maintaining meticulously organized databases of demos, contacts, and contractual information. You will be the first point of contact for many incoming inquiries, requiring excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor. Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to A&R executives and managers, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and preparing presentations.
- Organize and maintain the A&R department's demo submission database, ensuring all submissions are logged, tracked, and distributed appropriately.
- Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, accommodation, and itineraries for A&R personnel and artists.
- Assist with the preparation, processing, and tracking of artist contracts, agreements, and intellectual property documentation, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Manage expense reports and invoices for the A&R department, adhering to company financial policies.
- Act as a primary point of contact for external inquiries, managing communication with artists, managers, and industry professionals.
- Facilitate communication between the A&R department and other internal teams (e.g., Marketing, Legal, Finance).
- Maintain and update confidential artist files, contact lists, and project documentation.
- Support the planning and execution of A&R-related events, showcases, and recording sessions.
- Conduct ad-hoc research on artists, industry trends, and competitive landscapes as requested by A&R leads.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in an administrative support role, ideally within the music, entertainment, or creative industries.
- Exceptional organizational skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and database management systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.
- A genuine passion for music and a working knowledge of current industry trends and artists.
