Career.zycto is seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic A&R Administrator to join our dynamic team in Esher, Surrey. This full-time position offers a pivotal role in supporting our Artists and Repertoire (A&R) department, contributing directly to the exciting process of artist discovery, development, and project management. As an A&R Administrator, you will be the backbone of our creative operations, ensuring seamless administrative flow and meticulous management of crucial industry assets. You’ll be immersed in the vibrant world of music, working closely with A&R managers, artists, legal teams, and other internal departments to facilitate project timelines, contractual agreements, and communication. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the A&R department’s demo submission process, including logging, screening, and distributing material to relevant A&R managers.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, travel arrangements, and appointments for A&R executives and artists.
- Prepare, proofread, and format various documents, including contracts, budgets, presentations, and reports.
- Act as a primary point of contact for artist inquiries, external partners, and internal departments, ensuring timely and professional communication.
- Assist with the tracking of project timelines, budgets, and key deliverables for artist development and recording projects.
- Maintain comprehensive databases and filing systems for artist rosters, intellectual property, and contractual information.
- Facilitate the processing of invoices, expense reports, and other financial administration for the department.
- Support A&R managers with research tasks related to artists, music trends, and competitive analysis.
- Ensure all administrative tasks comply with company policies and industry regulations.
Required Skills
- Proven administrative experience, preferably within the music, entertainment, or creative industries.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a strong ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and general office software.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
