Key Responsibilities
- Manage and organize demo submissions, ensuring all materials are properly logged, categorized, and distributed to relevant A&R team members.
- Maintain comprehensive artist databases, tracking key information, contacts, and project statuses with exceptional accuracy.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, listening sessions, and artist showcases, managing calendars and preparing necessary documentation.
- Assist A&R Managers with contract administration, including preparing drafts, tracking revisions, and managing signatory processes.
- Process expense reports, invoices, and budget tracking for the A&R department, ensuring adherence to financial guidelines.
- Conduct research on emerging artists, market trends, and competitive landscapes to provide insightful data to the A&R team.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for external inquiries related to submissions and general A&R operations.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and internal communications for A&R meetings and executive reviews.
- Manage travel arrangements and logistics for A&R personnel as required.
- Ensure confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive artist information and business strategies.
Required Skills
- Proven administrative experience, preferably two years, within the music, entertainment, or media industry.
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and database management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- A genuine passion for music and a good understanding of current industry trends and genres.
- Discretion and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
