We are seeking a highly organised and proactive A&R Administrator to join a thriving team in Canton, Cardiff, assisting with the identification, development, and nurturing of musical talent. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and organise all incoming demo submissions, ensuring proper logging, categorisation, and distribution to relevant A&R managers.
- Maintain and update artist databases, contact lists, and project trackers with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist A&R managers with scheduling meetings, studio sessions, travel arrangements, and accommodation bookings.
- Prepare, proofread, and distribute various documents, including contracts, agreements, expense reports, and presentation materials.
- Liaise with artists, artist management, legal teams, and internal departments to facilitate communication and information flow.
- Process invoices, track departmental budgets, and manage petty cash for A&R related expenses.
- Coordinate logistics for scouting trips, showcases, and industry events.
- Research emerging artists, industry trends, and competitive landscapes to support A&R initiatives.
- Provide general administrative support to the A&R team, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the department.
- Handle confidential information and sensitive materials with professionalism and discretion.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience, preferably within the music, entertainment, or creative industries.
- Exceptional organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and database management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
