Job Description

Join Career.zycto as a Full-Time A&R Administrator, a pivotal role supporting our Artists & Repertoire team in Lisburn. This is an incredible opportunity for a highly organized and enthusiastic individual with a passion for the music and entertainment industry to contribute to the discovery and development of groundbreaking talent. You will be the backbone of our A&R department, ensuring smooth operations, efficient communication, and meticulous record-keeping, allowing our A&R managers to focus on what they do best – finding the next big thing.

Your day-to-day will involve a diverse range of administrative tasks, from coordinating demos and managing submission pipelines to scheduling crucial meetings and assisting with contract documentation. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses exceptional attention to detail, and is eager to learn and grow within the talent management sector. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and organize all incoming music submissions, demos, and artist materials.
  • Maintain comprehensive databases of artists, contacts, and project statuses.
  • Schedule meetings, travel arrangements, and appointments for A&R managers.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, and administrative documents for team use.
  • Assist with the preparation and tracking of artist contracts and legal documents.
  • Coordinate communication between artists, management, legal teams, and internal departments.
  • Process invoices, expense reports, and other financial administration for the A&R department.
  • Support A&R initiatives by conducting research, gathering market data, and assisting with event coordination.
  • Ensure confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive artist information.

Required Skills

  • Proven administrative experience, preferably within the music or entertainment industry.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a dynamic work environment.
  • A proactive and problem-solving attitude.
  • Demonstrated passion for music and understanding of the current industry landscape.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Music Business, Arts Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with CRM software or project management tools.
  • Familiarity with intellectual property rights and basic contract terminology.
  • Prior experience working with artists or talent.
