Career.zycto is seeking a highly organized, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented A&R Administrator to join our burgeoning team in Cowley, Oxford. This full-time position is crucial for providing comprehensive administrative support to our A&R department, ensuring the smooth operation of daily tasks and the effective management of artist relations and development projects.
In this role, you will be the backbone of our Artist & Repertoire efforts, working closely with A&R managers, artists, and external partners. Your day-to-day will be diverse, ranging from managing complex schedules and databases to assisting with contract administration and event coordination. Key Responsibilities
- Provide extensive administrative support to the A&R team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and arranging travel.
- Maintain and update artist databases, tracking submissions, demos, and artist development progress.
- Assist with the preparation and administration of artist contracts, ensuring all documentation is accurate and filed correctly.
- Coordinate recording sessions, photoshoots, video shoots, and promotional events, handling logistics and scheduling.
- Process invoices, expense reports, and budget tracking for A&R projects and artist-related costs.
- Manage incoming correspondence, screening calls and emails, and directing inquiries appropriately.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and internal communications for A&R meetings and executive reviews.
- Liaise with artists, managers, producers, and internal departments (e.g., legal, marketing) to facilitate project flow.
- Conduct research on emerging artists, market trends, and competitive landscapes to support A&R scouting efforts.
- Organize and maintain both physical and digital filing systems, ensuring confidentiality and easy retrieval of information.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience, preferably within the music, entertainment, or creative industries.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and database management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Proactive problem-solver with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
