We are seeking a highly organised and proactive A&R Administrator to join our dynamic team in Weybridge, Surrey. This full-time role is crucial in supporting our Artist & Repertoire department, ensuring the smooth operation of daily administrative tasks that underpin our artist development and music acquisition efforts. As an A&R Administrator, you will be at the heart of our operations, providing essential support to A&R managers, coordinating projects, managing databases, and facilitating communication across various departments and with external partners. Your meticulous attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple priorities will be key to success in this fast-paced environment. You will play a vital role in managing the administrative workflow associated with demos, artist submissions, recording sessions, and contract documentation, ensuring that our A&R team can focus their energy on creative and strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the A&R team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and arranging travel.
- Manage and organise demo submissions, artist databases, and other crucial A&R documentation.
- Coordinate recording sessions, photoshoots, and video productions, ensuring all logistical requirements are met.
- Assist with contract administration, including preparing drafts, tracking statuses, and maintaining accurate records.
- Facilitate communication between A&R, legal, marketing, and other internal departments, as well as with artists and their representatives.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and other materials for A&R meetings and executive reviews.
- Process invoices, expenses, and manage departmental budgets with precision.
- Research emerging artists, industry trends, and competitive landscapes to inform A&R strategy.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (1-2 years) in an administrative role, preferably within the music or entertainment industry.
- Exceptional organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- A genuine passion for music and knowledge of current industry trends.
