Key Responsibilities
- Manage and meticulously log all incoming demo submissions, ensuring prompt review and feedback processes.
- Coordinate complex diaries and schedules for A&R managers, including internal and external meetings, studio sessions, and travel arrangements.
- Assist with crucial contract administration, including preparing initial drafts, tracking deadlines, and maintaining comprehensive filing systems.
- Maintain and update accurate artist databases and project trackers, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.
- Act as a primary point of contact for artists, managers, and external partners, handling inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
- Prepare detailed reports, engaging presentations, and creative briefs as required for A&R meetings and executive reviews.
- Process expenses and invoices related to A&R activities, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Conduct research on emerging artists, music trends, and industry developments to support A&R scouting efforts.
- Organise and occasionally attend showcases, gigs, and industry events to represent the company and identify talent.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of proven administrative experience, ideally within the music or entertainment industry.
- Exceptional organisational skills with an acute attention to detail and accuracy.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting effectively at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- A genuine, deep-seated passion for music and a comprehensive understanding of current music trends and genres.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Music Business, Arts Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
