Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the A&R team, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements for artists and staff.
- Handle all incoming and outgoing correspondence for the A&R department, ensuring timely, professional, and confidential communication with artists, managers, and external stakeholders.
- Assist with the preparation, review, and execution of artist agreements, recording contracts, and other legal documentation, ensuring accuracy and strict adherence to company policies and industry standards.
- Maintain and update the A&R database with precision, including artist information, demo submissions, project timelines, contractual details, and royalty tracking data.
- Process invoices, expense reports, and meticulous budget tracking for A&R projects, collaborating closely with the finance department to ensure financial compliance and efficiency.
- Manage the demo submission pipeline, logging all submissions, organising regular listening sessions for the A&R team, and providing initial feedback as directed by senior A&R managers.
- Coordinate all logistical aspects for artist showcases, studio recording sessions, photoshoots, video shoots, and promotional events, ensuring seamless execution.
- Conduct thorough research on emerging artists, music market trends, and the competitive landscape to actively support A&R scouting efforts and strategic decision-making.
- Prepare impactful presentations, detailed reports, and internal communications for A&R team meetings, executive reviews, and industry conferences.
- Act as a central and reliable point of contact for internal departments regarding all A&R-related inquiries, fostering cross-functional collaboration.
Required Skills
- Proven administrative experience of at least two years, ideally within the music, entertainment, or creative industries.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively, prioritise competing demands, and meet deadlines under pressure.
- A high level of unwavering attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks, from data entry to contract review.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and strong general computer literacy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of professional and articulate interaction with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated passion for music, a solid understanding of the music industry landscape, and familiarity with various music genres.
- Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality and handle sensitive artist and business information with the utmost discretion and integrity.

- A degree or relevant qualification in Music Business, Arts Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
