Key Responsibilities
- Identify and scout new musical talent through various channels, including live performances, online platforms, demos, and industry referrals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with artists, managers, producers, and other industry professionals.
- Negotiate and secure recording contracts with promising artists, ensuring terms are beneficial for both the artist and Career.zycto.
- Oversee the creative development of signed artists, including song selection, production guidance, and studio sessions.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, promotion, and legal teams to strategize artist releases and career trajectories.
- Monitor music industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging artists to inform scouting and development strategies.
- Manage artist budgets and timelines for recording and development projects.
- Represent Career.zycto at industry events, showcases, and festivals.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as an A&R Manager or similar role within the music industry (record label, publisher, management company).
- Deep understanding of various music genres and current industry trends.
- Strong network within the German and international music community.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
- Demonstrable ability to identify and develop commercially viable talent.
- Proficiency in contract negotiation and understanding of music publishing and recording agreements.
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
