Job Description

We are seeking an exceptionally passionate and well-connected A&R Representative to join our dynamic team in the heart of Nottingham. This hybrid role offers the unique opportunity to blend in-person engagement within the bustling local music scene with the flexibility of remote work for certain tasks. As an A&R Representative, you will be the frontline scout, responsible for identifying, developing, and signing groundbreaking musical talent that aligns with our vision for innovation and global impact. This isn’t just about finding artists; it’s about nurturing their growth, guiding their creative journey, and building lasting relationships that translate into commercial and critical success.

You will be immersed in the vibrant music ecosystem, attending live performances, industry events, and actively networking with artists, producers, managers, and other key figures. Your keen ear for potential, understanding of current trends, and foresight into future sounds will be critical in shaping our roster. Beyond scouting, you will play a pivotal role in artist development, working closely with signed acts on their creative direction, repertoire selection, and recording process. This involves coordinating studio sessions, providing constructive feedback, and collaborating with our marketing and promotion teams to ensure a cohesive strategy from inception to release.

This role demands not only a deep love for music but also a strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to negotiate effectively. You will be instrumental in advocating for artists internally, preparing proposals, and contributing to the overall business development of the label. If you are a proactive self-starter with an encyclopedic knowledge of music genres, a proven track record in talent identification, and a burning desire to shape the sound of tomorrow, we encourage you to apply. This is a rare chance to make a tangible impact within an evolving record label, based in the culturally rich Radford Road area of Nottingham.
