Job Description
We are seeking an exceptionally passionate and well-connected A&R Representative to join our dynamic team in the heart of Nottingham. Key Responsibilities
- Actively scout and identify emerging musical talent across various genres through live shows, online platforms, and industry networks.
- Cultivate strong relationships with unsigned artists, their management, and other industry professionals.
- Evaluate demos, attend showcases, and conduct due diligence on potential signings.
- Collaborate with artists on creative direction, song selection, and overall artistic vision.
- Oversee and manage recording projects, including booking studio time, selecting producers, and monitoring budgets.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance throughout the artist development process.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on potential signings for internal review.
- Assist in negotiating artist contracts and licensing agreements.
- Stay abreast of music industry trends, market shifts, and competitor activities.
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, promotion, and legal teams to ensure successful artist launches and campaigns.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in A&R, artist management, or a related role within the music industry.
- Demonstrable track record of identifying and signing successful musical talent.
