Key Responsibilities
- Actively scout and identify new musical talent across various genres through live performances, online platforms, and industry networks.
- Build and maintain a robust network of industry contacts, including artists, producers, managers, and music venues.
- Evaluate artist submissions, demos, and live performances for potential signing, providing comprehensive feedback and analysis.
- Conduct market research to stay abreast of current music trends, emerging genres, and competitor activities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with signed and prospective artists, guiding them through the initial stages of their career.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, production, legal) to ensure a smooth artist development and release process.
- Negotiate and secure talent agreements, ensuring favorable terms for both artists and Career.zycto.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in A&R, talent scouting, or music management.
- Profound knowledge of music genres, production, and current industry trends.
- Exceptional networking and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proven ability to identify commercially viable and artistically compelling talent.
- Strong negotiation and business acumen.
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in digital music platforms and social media analytics for talent discovery.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Music Business, Arts Administration, or a related field.
