As an Architect with Career.zycto, you will be instrumental in all phases of architectural design and project management. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the architectural design process from concept development to construction documentation.
  • Prepare detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and schedules using CAD and BIM software.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and site analyses to inform design decisions.
  • Collaborate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and local authorities.
  • Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards in Mauritius.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources efficiently.
  • Oversee construction administration, including site visits and review of contractor submittals.
  • Develop and integrate sustainable design principles and innovative building technologies.
  • Mentor junior architects and actively participate in design reviews and team meetings.
  • Present design concepts and proposals to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp).
  • Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction techniques in Mauritius.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing diverse architectural projects.
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Architecture.
  • Registration with the Professional Architects' Council of Mauritius.
  • LEED AP or other sustainability certifications.
