Key Responsibilities
- Assist architects and designers in the preparation of design development and construction documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
- Prepare detailed architectural drawings, schematics, and visualizations using AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant CAD/BIM software.
- Conduct thorough research on building codes, zoning regulations, materials, and innovative building systems to ensure project compliance and foster creative solutions.
- Support project teams with administrative tasks, including organizing project files, scheduling meetings, and preparing compelling client presentations.
- Participate in site visits, taking precise measurements, documenting existing conditions, and assisting with site analysis.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including structural engineers, mechanical engineers, and electrical consultants, to integrate various components into comprehensive designs.
- Maintain meticulous project files and documentation, ensuring all records are accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible.
- Contribute actively to design brainstorming sessions, offering fresh perspectives and developing conceptual solutions for architectural challenges.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit for architectural drafting and modeling.
- Basic knowledge of SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) for visualizations and presentations.
- Strong understanding of architectural drafting principles, graphic standards, and technical drawing conventions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective team collaboration and documentation.
