As an Art Gallery Support Staff, you will be the welcoming face of our gallery, playing a crucial role in creating an engaging and memorable experience for every visitor. Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome all visitors to the gallery, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
- Provide engaging information about the artworks, artists, and the cultural significance of the pieces.
- Assist customers with inquiries, guide them through the gallery, and help them find suitable artworks.
- Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems and handle cash and card payments.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and visual appeal of the gallery space and displays.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving, tagging, and tracking artworks.
- Support the preparation and setup for special events, exhibitions, or workshops as needed.
- Perform light administrative duties such as answering phones, responding to emails, and maintaining customer records.
- Ensure the security of artworks and the general safety of the gallery premises.
- Adhere to all gallery policies and procedures, contributing to a professional and harmonious work environment.
