Job Description

Are you a passionate and inspiring artist with a knack for teaching? Future Leaders Academy is seeking a talented Part-Time Art Instructor to lead our vibrant Creative Class program in Shubra El Kheima. This is an exciting opportunity to share your artistic expertise, ignite imagination, and cultivate creativity in students of various age groups, from enthusiastic beginners to those looking to refine their skills.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging art lessons that introduce students to diverse techniques, mediums, and art history concepts. We are looking for an instructor who can create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment where students feel encouraged to explore their artistic potential, experiment with new ideas, and express themselves freely. You will help students develop foundational art skills, encourage critical thinking about art, and guide them in completing inspiring projects. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver engaging, age-appropriate art lessons and projects.
  • Introduce students to various art forms, techniques, mediums (e.g., drawing, painting, sculpting, mixed media).
  • Foster a positive, encouraging, and safe learning environment where creativity can flourish.
  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students on their artistic development.
  • Manage classroom materials, ensure proper use and maintenance of art supplies.
  • Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
  • Inspire students to explore their personal artistic expression and critical thinking.
  • Maintain clear communication with students, parents, and academy administration.
  • Participate in occasional academy events or showcases for student artwork.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in various art techniques and mediums (e.g., drawing, painting, collage).
  • Proven experience in teaching art to groups of students, preferably in an academy or school setting.
  • Excellent classroom management and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for art education.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels.
  • Creativity and adaptability in lesson planning and execution.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing personal artistic work.
  • Experience working with both children and adult learners.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English is a plus.
  • Knowledge of art history and contemporary art movements.
