Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and empathetic Artist Onboarding Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Columbus, Ohio. This role demands a meticulous individual who can bridge the gap between artistic talent and operational requirements. The Artist Onboarding Coordinator will serve as the primary point of contact for new artists joining our platform or network, ensuring a seamless, welcoming, and efficient integration process. You will guide artists through necessary paperwork, platform setup, and initial training, setting them up for long-term success within our ecosystem. Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new artists during the onboarding process.
  • Guide artists through platform registration, profile creation, and initial setup procedures.
  • Coordinate the collection and verification of necessary documentation (e.g., contracts, payment details, portfolios).
  • Conduct introductory calls and virtual tours to familiarize artists with our services, tools, and community guidelines.
  • Develop, maintain, and update onboarding materials, FAQs, and training resources.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams including Artist Relations, Legal, and Tech Support to ensure smooth artist transitions.
  • Track and report on onboarding progress, identifying and proactively addressing potential roadblocks or delays.
  • Gather constructive feedback from new artists to continuously improve the onboarding experience and processes.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all company policies and legal requirements throughout the artist onboarding phase.
  • Provide ongoing support and timely responses to artist inquiries related to initial setup and platform navigation.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a client-facing support, coordination, or onboarding role.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, with a strong ability to build rapport.
  • Strong organizational skills with an acute attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Empathy, patience, and a strong commitment to providing excellent customer/client service.
  • Basic understanding of the creative industry and the unique needs of artists.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Arts Management, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience working directly with creative professionals or within an arts-related organization.
  • Familiarity with digital content platforms, creative marketplaces, or talent management systems.
  • Proficiency in a second language, particularly beneficial for diverse artist communities.
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies and tools.
