Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the receiving, unpacking, and preliminary inspection of incoming auction items.
- Support the cataloging process by accurately documenting item details, dimensions, and condition under supervision.
- Prepare items for display, including cleaning, polishing, and arranging them aesthetically for viewing.
- Help stage the auction floor and viewing areas, ensuring a presentable and organized environment.
- Provide support during auction events, which may include assisting with bidder registration, directing attendees, and answering basic inquiries.
- Aid in the packing and organization of sold items for client pickup post-auction.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, including general tidiness of the warehouse and showroom.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as required to support the efficient operation of the auction house.
