Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of audit engagements under the supervision of senior staff.
- Perform substantive testing and analytical procedures on financial statements and accounts.
- Prepare comprehensive audit workpapers and supporting documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Verify financial transactions and balances, and reconcile accounts.
- Review and evaluate internal controls to assess their effectiveness.
- Contribute to the preparation of financial statements, footnotes, and disclosures.
- Communicate effectively with client personnel to obtain necessary information and clarify findings.
- Adhere to professional standards, firm policies, and ethical guidelines.
- Participate in continuing professional education (CPE) to maintain and enhance technical skills.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field from an accredited university.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
