Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the execution of internal audit procedures and compliance checks under the direct supervision of senior auditors and compliance officers.
- Learn to identify, document, and report control weaknesses, non-compliance issues, and operational inefficiencies across various banking processes.
- Support the comprehensive preparation of detailed audit reports, compliance documentation, and risk assessments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards.
- Actively participate in mandatory training sessions and internal workshops designed to enhance knowledge of banking regulations, internal policies, IFRS, and international auditing standards.
- Assist in gathering, organizing, and analyzing financial and operational data crucial for robust audit engagements and risk assessments.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement initiatives of internal control systems and compliance frameworks, offering fresh perspectives and insights.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion regarding all sensitive financial and customer information in accordance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
