Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical faults in a wide range of vehicles using advanced diagnostic tools.
- Perform precise repairs and replacements of wiring harnesses, sensors, actuators, and control modules.
- Install, modify, and integrate new electrical systems and accessories, ensuring full functionality and compliance.
- Interpret and work meticulously with detailed wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical service bulletins.
- Conduct thorough electrical inspections, preventive maintenance, and system testing.
- Repair and recondition components such as alternators, starter motors, batteries, and lighting systems.
- Ensure all work is carried out to the highest safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all diagnostic procedures, repairs, and parts used.
- Provide expert technical advice and support to mechanical colleagues and directly to customers when required.

Required Skills
- Proven experience as an Auto Electrician with a strong focus on vehicle wiring and diagnostics.
- In-depth knowledge of automotive electrical systems, including CAN bus, LIN bus, and modern vehicle networks.
- Exceptional diagnostic and fault-finding abilities using various testing equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, scan tools).
- Proficiency in reading, interpreting, and working with complex electrical wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
- Excellent practical skills in soldering, crimping, wiring repair, and component replacement.
- Understanding of engine management systems, ABS, SRS (airbag) systems, and infotainment electronics.
- Valid UK driving license.
