Key Responsibilities
- Accurately identify and source automotive parts using electronic catalogs, technical manuals, and other resources.
- Provide expert advice and technical information to customers and internal staff regarding part compatibility, specifications, and availability.
- Process parts orders efficiently, including quoting, invoicing, and coordinating with suppliers and shipping.
- Manage and maintain optimal inventory levels, conducting regular stock checks and reordering as necessary.
- Handle returns and warranty claims according to company procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment within the parts department.
- Stay updated on new vehicle models, parts releases, and industry trends to continuously enhance product knowledge.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as an Auto Parts Interpreter, Parts Advisor, or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of automotive systems, components, and vehicle mechanics.
- Proficiency with electronic parts catalogs (EPCs) and inventory management software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Fluency in German and working proficiency in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Vocational training or certification in automotive mechanics or parts management.
