Career.zycto is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Automated Equipment Helper to join our growing team in Palmer, Alaska. Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior technicians with the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of automated production equipment.
- Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and basic maintenance tasks on machinery according to schedules and procedures.
- Monitor equipment during operation and report any unusual noises, vibrations, or malfunctions to supervisors promptly.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering strictly to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Support inventory management of parts and supplies by helping to organize tools and components.
- Read and understand basic technical manuals, safety instructions, and equipment diagrams.
- Participate in training sessions and learn about various types of automated systems and control technologies.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate progress or issues clearly.
- Assist in data collection and record-keeping related to equipment performance and maintenance.
- Follow all Lockout/Tagout procedures and other safety protocols meticulously.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic mechanical aptitude or demonstrated interest in mechanics/technology
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as required
