Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using industry-standard tools and programming languages.
- Execute automated tests, analyze results, and identify defects, documenting them thoroughly.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Participate in requirement reviews, providing feedback on testability and potential risks.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing as needed.
- Continuously research and implement new testing tools, techniques, and strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Mentor junior QA team members and share best practices for automation testing.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our software quality assurance processes.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance, with a strong focus on test automation.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#, JavaScript).
- Extensive experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Puppeteer, TestComplete).
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and various testing methodologies.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI, ReadyAPI).
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
