Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and reliable back-end services and APIs.
- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define and implement new features.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, troubleshooting and debugging issues as they arise.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and decisions, helping to evolve our system design.
- Implement robust data storage solutions, working with relational and non-relational databases.
- Ensure the security and data integrity of our applications.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge within the team.
- Monitor system performance and implement improvements to ensure optimal operation.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our tech stack and processes.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Back End Developer.
- Proficiency in at least one modern back-end language (e.g., Python, Go, Java, Node.js).
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Ability to write comprehensive unit and integration tests.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
