Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure backend services and APIs using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, product owners, and other teams to define API contracts and integrate services.
- Design and manage databases, ensuring data integrity, performance, and scalability.
- Write comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality and system reliability.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality and share knowledge within the team.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and production issues efficiently.
- Implement security and data protection measures in line with industry best practices.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools.
- Stay informed about new technologies and trends in backend development and propose relevant adoptions.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in at least one backend programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js, Go, C#)
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development principles
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis)
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
