Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure backend services and APIs.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, product, QA) to define, design, and ship new features.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and stability, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks.
- Manage and maintain databases, ensuring data integrity, security, and efficient querying.
- Implement and maintain automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment strategies.
- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and contribute to technical documentation.
- Mentor junior developers and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in at least one backend programming language (e.g., Python, Node.js, Java, Go, Ruby).
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development.
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis).
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Ability to write comprehensive unit and integration tests.
