Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure backend services and APIs using chosen programming languages and frameworks.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other teams to define and implement new features.
- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and stability.
- Manage and maintain database schemas and data integrity (SQL/NoSQL).
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, share knowledge, and mentor junior engineers.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
- Implement security and data protection measures.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our tech stack.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in at least one modern backend programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Go, Node.js, C#).
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development principles.
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis).
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
