Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, fund transfers, and loan repayments.
- Verify customer identities and transaction details to prevent fraud and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Handle cash and negotiable instruments responsibly, adhering to strict cash handling procedures and reconciliation protocols.
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide information regarding bank products, services, and account details.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and customer interactions, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Assist customers with opening new accounts, closing accounts, and updating customer information.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell bank products and services to meet customer needs and achieve sales targets.
- Ensure compliance with all internal bank policies, procedures, and external regulatory requirements (e.g., AML/CFT).
- Resolve customer complaints or refer complex issues to appropriate supervisors for resolution.
- Participate in daily branch opening and closing procedures, including balancing cash drawers and preparing reports.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth branch operations and a positive customer experience.
