Key Responsibilities
- Process routine financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, cheque cashing, and loan payments accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain and balance a cash drawer, ensuring accurate reconciliation at the end of each shift.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and identifying opportunities to cross-sell bank products and services.
- Adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including anti-money laundering (AML) and know your customer (KYC) guidelines.
- Safeguard customer information and maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Assist customers with account-related services, such as statement requests, stop payments, and direct debit set-up.
- Identify and report suspicious transactions or activities to management as per company protocol.
- Contribute to the overall cleanliness and organisation of the branch lobby and personal workstation.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve branch goals and enhance the overall customer experience.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in cash handling and reconciliation, preferably in a retail or banking environment.
