Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the precise setup and arrangement of tables, chairs, linens, and place settings according to event specifications and floor plans.
- Transport and set up banquet equipment, including staging, audiovisual equipment, dance floors, and decorative elements.
- Ensure all banquet areas are clean, tidy, and presentable before, during, and after events.
- Support the banquet team in preparing event spaces for various functions, adhering to strict timelines.
- Break down event setups efficiently and carefully, including clearing tables, dismantling equipment, and storing items appropriately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet storage areas and equipment.
- Adhere to all safety and hygiene standards and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Banquet Manager or supervisor to ensure smooth event operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 20kg, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of English for communication.
