Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Interact with guests, take orders, and provide recommendations with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment.
- Stock and replenish bar inventory, ensuring adequate supplies are available at all times.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately, managing a till and processing payments.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and responsible alcohol service policies.
- Monitor guest consumption to prevent over-serving and ensure a safe environment.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation and exceptional guest service.
- Assist with opening and closing duties of the bar, including setup and breakdown.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Bar Attendant or Bartender.
- Excellent knowledge of drink preparation and garnishing.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing inventory.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Certification in Mixology or Bartending.
- Knowledge of local and international beverage trends.
- Familiarity with POS systems.
