Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a diverse range of beverages, including cocktails, mocktails, wines, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders, making recommendations, and ensuring their complete satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area at all times, including glassware, ingredients, and bar equipment.
- Process guest payments accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and intervene responsibly when necessary, adhering to all licensing laws and company policies.
- Assist with inventory management, including stocking shelves, monitoring supply levels, and reporting shortages.
- Collaborate effectively with other lounge staff, including servers and hosts, to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards and regulations within the bar and lounge.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, escalating issues to management when appropriate.
- Contribute to a positive team environment through clear communication and mutual support.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as bar staff or bartender in a reputable establishment.
- Extensive knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktail recipes, spirits, wines, and beers.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to presentation excellence.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and operating a POS system.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (e.g., cases of beverages).
