Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment, ensuring cleanliness and proper functionality.
- Provide exceptional customer service, taking orders accurately, handling payments efficiently, and engaging with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, including the coffee bar, seating areas, and back-of-house.
- Monitor and replenish coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies, informing management of low stock levels.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Assist with opening and closing duties as required.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Barista (minimum 12 months).
- In-depth knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, latte art, and various brewing methods.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for quality.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
