Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and spirits, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional, and attentive manner, providing menu recommendations and ensuring an outstanding experience.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked bar area, including glassware, ingredients, and equipment.
- Process orders and handle cash/card payments accurately using POS systems.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and intervene responsibly when necessary.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, as well as licensing laws.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation, ordering, and receiving deliveries.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and management to ensure smooth operations.
- Identify and resolve customer concerns or complaints swiftly and courteously.
- Contribute to a positive team environment through excellent communication and a proactive attitude.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Bartender in a fast-paced environment (minimum 18 months)
- Extensive knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and beers
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and multitask
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant bartending qualifications or certifications (e.g., WSET, professional mixology course)
- Experience with POS systems and cash handling
