Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including classic cocktails, signature drinks, and custom creations.
- Interact engagingly with guests, providing recommendations, and ensuring an exceptional customer service experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage bar inventory, place orders for supplies, and minimize wastage through efficient pouring and stock rotation.
- Develop and update cocktail menus, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative techniques.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently, operating POS systems.
- Monitor guest consumption and ensure responsible alcohol service.
- Assist in the training and mentoring of junior bar staff as required.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies and procedures, including those related to responsible beverage service and food safety.
- Uphold the highest standards of presentation and hygiene for both the bar and personal appearance.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a Bartender in a high-volume restaurant, hotel, or bar setting.
- Extensive knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktail recipes, spirits, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with a friendly and engaging demeanor.
