Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a diverse range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including classic cocktails, signature drinks, wines, and beers.
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Monitor inventory and place orders for supplies as needed, ensuring optimal stock levels.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently, operating POS systems.
- Develop and create new cocktail recipes, contributing to the bar's evolving menu.
- Ensure responsible alcohol service, verifying legal drinking age and identifying intoxicated guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service.
- Provide exceptional customer service, anticipating guest needs and resolving any issues promptly.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to responsible alcohol service.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Bartender, with a strong focus on cocktail preparation
- Extensive knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, and mixology techniques
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Basic math skills and experience with POS systems
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 kg
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification from a recognized bartending school
- Fluency in French and English; additional languages a plus
