Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, take drink orders, and provide recommendations with enthusiasm and expert knowledge.
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area, including glassware, ice, garnishes, and liquor inventory.
- Process payments accurately using POS systems and handle cash transactions with integrity.
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption to ensure responsible service and adherence to all local and state regulations.
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, anticipating their needs and ensuring a positive experience.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and other team members to ensure seamless service.
- Perform opening and closing duties, including cleaning, restocking, and preparing for the next shift.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance mixology skills and product knowledge.
- Identify and address potential issues or concerns promptly to maintain a high standard of service and guest satisfaction.
Required Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Bartender in a fast-paced restaurant, bar, or hospitality setting.
- Extensive knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, and classic cocktail preparation.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a high-volume environment.
- Strong understanding of responsible alcohol service practices and local/state liquor laws.
- Proficiency in using POS systems and handling cash transactions accurately.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Responsible Alcohol Service (e.g., BASSET, TIPS).
- Experience with craft cocktails and a passion for mixology innovation.
- A track record of exceeding guest expectations and receiving positive feedback.
- Experience in a venue with a diverse beverage program.
- Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus.
