Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Interact with customers, take orders, and serve snacks and drinks.
- Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations.
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks.
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
- Stay guest-focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations, including responsible alcohol service.
- Process payments and handle cash and card transactions accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organised bar area, including glassware and equipment.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service flow.
Required Skills
- Proven working experience as a Bartender (minimum 6 months)
- Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organised, stocked, and clean
- Fluent in English (both written and verbal)
- Relevant training certificate (e.g., Personal Licence, Basic Food Hygiene) or willingness to obtain one
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with POS systems
- Knowledge of local craft beers and spirits
- Additional language skills are a plus
- Certification from a recognised bartending school
- Experience in a fast-paced restaurant or pub environment
