Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional, and timely manner, taking orders and making recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment.
- Process guest payments accurately using POS systems and handle cash responsibly.
- Monitor inventory and restock bar supplies, notifying management of any shortages.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal liquor laws, including checking ID and refusing service to intoxicated patrons.
- Collaborate with kitchen and other staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest complaints and concerns professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary.
Required Skills
- Minimum 6 months of bartending experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Extensive knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a high-volume setting.
- Strong cash handling and POS system proficiency.
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol).
- Experience with craft cocktails and advanced mixology techniques.
- Understanding of local health and safety regulations.
