Matola Hotel & Conference Centre is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Part-Time Bartending Trainee to join our vibrant Food & Beverage team in Nkobe, Matola. Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior bartenders in preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Learn and practice various drink recipes, mixing techniques, and proper pouring methods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment.
- Restock bar supplies, ice, garnishes, and other necessary items throughout shifts.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and answering questions about menu items.
- Handle cash and process payments accurately under supervision.
- Understand and adhere to responsible alcohol service practices and age verification procedures.
- Attend all scheduled training sessions and actively participate in learning opportunities.
- Support the wider Food & Beverage team with ad-hoc tasks as required to ensure smooth operations.
