Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive client consultations to assess skin and hair conditions and understand client preferences and concerns.
- Perform a wide range of beauty treatments including, but not limited to, advanced facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, waxing, tinting, manicures, and pedicures.
- Execute various hair services such as cutting, styling, colouring (highlights, balayage, full colour), perming, and deep conditioning treatments.
- Provide expert advice on skincare routines, hair care products, and treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
- Maintain immaculate hygiene and sanitation standards for all tools, equipment, and treatment areas, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and encouraging repeat business.
- Manage appointment bookings, client records, and inventory of professional products.
- Actively participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry trends and techniques.
- Promote and cross-sell salon services and retail products effectively to enhance client experience and salon revenue.
Required Skills
- NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent qualification in Beauty Therapy and/or Hairdressing.
- Proven experience in delivering a broad spectrum of skin and hair treatments.
- Excellent knowledge of skin anatomy, hair science, and product ingredients.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
- Demonstrated ability to perform detailed consultations and provide personalized recommendations.
- Proficiency in maintaining hygiene and safety standards.
- A creative eye for styling and an artistic touch for aesthetic treatments.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in advanced aesthetic treatments (e.g., advanced facials, laser hair removal, IPL).
- Experience with premium beauty product lines and equipment.
- A robust portfolio showcasing previous work in hair styling and skin transformations.
- Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
- Previous experience mentoring junior therapists or stylists.
