Key Responsibilities
- Conduct personalized beauty consultations to understand customer needs and preferences.
- Recommend and demonstrate a wide range of beauty products including skincare, makeup, and fragrances.
- Achieve and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Maintain a pristine and well-stocked sales floor, ensuring attractive product displays.
- Educate customers on product ingredients, benefits, and application techniques.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through excellent service and follow-up.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems.
- Stay up-to-date with current beauty trends, product innovations, and competitor offerings.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving, shelving, and organizing products.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in retail sales, preferably in the beauty or cosmetics industry.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong product knowledge across skincare, makeup, and fragrance categories.
- Ability to confidently recommend and demonstrate beauty products.
- Goal-oriented with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Fluent in Portuguese (written and spoken).
- Proficiency in basic computer applications.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- A diploma or certification in Cosmetology, Esthetics, or a related field.
- Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems specific to retail.
- Additional language proficiency (e.g., Emakhuwa, Sena relevant to Zambezia Province).
- Demonstrated ability to use social media for product promotion and client engagement.
- A portfolio showcasing makeup artistry or skincare expertise.
